Alarming

Data Deletion

Alarming supports both local-only use and a signed-in backend mode. The deletion path depends on how you used the app.

If You Only Used Local Alarms

Local-only alarms stay on your device. Removing the app from your device deletes that local alarm data.

If You Signed In

You can hard-delete your signed-in account from inside the app. The flow may ask for optional feedback before deletion, but feedback is not required. Account deletion removes the synced account record and server-managed app data associated with that account, including alarms, invites, and uploaded clips, subject to legal retention requirements.

If you cannot access the app, email a deletion request to jackson@middleout.dev from the email address associated with your Alarming account, or include that email address in the request. We will use that information to locate and delete the same server-managed data through a server-mediated deletion process.

If You Submitted a Friend Clip

If you recorded an audio clip through an invite link and want it deleted, email jackson@middleout.dev with the invite link or enough detail to identify the submission. We will remove the associated clip and submission record after verifying the request. The alarm owner can also remove or report clips, revoke an invite link, or block future submissions if an invite is being misused.
