Alarming

Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 17, 2026

Alarming helps people create wake-up alarms and invite friends to contribute short audio clips. This policy explains what information the app stores, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.

Information We Collect

Alarming may store account information such as your email address and sign-in provider, alarm details that you create, invite records, uploaded audio clips, clip moderation reports, and technical metadata needed to deliver the service.

How We Use Information

We use stored information to authenticate users, sync alarms across devices, generate invite links, accept friend-submitted clips, select a clip for an alarm occurrence, and review abuse reports or other misuse.

Storage and Service Providers

Alarming uses Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage, to operate the live backend. If you use Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in, those providers also process authentication data as part of the sign-in flow.

Local-Only Use

You can use Alarming without signing in. In that mode, alarms stay on your device and do not use the live backend features for invites, uploaded clips, or account sync.

Data Sharing

Uploaded clips and invite details are shared only as needed to operate the alarm flows that users initiate. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We retain account, alarm, invite, and submission data for as long as it is needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce policies. Users may request deletion as described below.

Data Deletion
