Alarming

Support

Something broken? Something weird? You found the right page. It is mostly one human and one email address, but the human reads everything.

Common things

Alarm did not fire? On iOS 26 the app uses AlarmKit, which needs the alarm permission granted in Settings. On iOS 17–25 it falls back to a local notification, so silent mode and Focus can mute it. Check both.

Sign-in stuck? Force-quit, reopen, try again. If Apple or Google bounces you, kill the browser sheet and retry once. Still stuck? Email below with which provider you used.

Clip will not upload? Friend recordings need a working internet connection and a browser that allows microphone access. Safari on iOS and Chrome on desktop are the happy path. If the upload bar hangs, refresh the invite link.

Friend got an alarm with no clip? The fallback bell is doing its job. If nobody submits in time, you get the built-in tone instead of silence.

Need to remove a friend clip? Friend clips are accepted automatically when submitted from an invite link. Alarm owners can remove or report clips, revoke invite links, and block future submissions when a clip or invite is abusive, hateful, threatening, sexual, illegal, privacy-invasive, or otherwise unwanted.
